'I'm fully all in with Bayern' - Kane cools on Premier League comeback
Kane marks his hundredth goal for Bayern Munich
Harry Kane has revealed that his enthusiasm in coming back to the Premier League has diminished and he is open to discuss a new deal with Bayern Munich.
The star striker is currently two years through the four-year contract he signed when transferring to from Tottenham Hotspur for a substantial fee in the transfer window of 2023.
The veteran forward has accumulated an remarkable 103 goals in 106 appearances for the German side, helping them win the 2024-25 Bundesliga championship - which marked the maiden significant trophy of his notable career.
Tottenham coach Thomas Frank has recently stated that he would welcome to see Kane return to England, where he requires 48 goals to surpass Alan Shearer's historic Premier League scoring milestone of 260.
However, the England leader has now suggested that he is no longer as eager about coming back home as he previously was, and would seriously think about lengthening his tenure in Bavaria.
"In terms of extending longer, I could definitely see that," he stated.
"I spoke openly a couple of weeks ago that I have not had those conversations with Bayern yet, but if they were to arise I would be prepared to talk and have an frank conversation.
"Obviously it hinges on how the next year or so progresses and what we accomplish together. Right now, I would say we are in a fantastic moment and I am not considering about anything else.
"In terms of the Premier League, I don't know. If you had questioned me when I first left to go to Bayern, I would have said for sure I would come back.
"Now I have been there a couple of years I would perhaps say that has gone down a little bit, but I wouldn't say I would never go back.
"What I have discovered in my career is that different opportunities and different periods happen and things align. Going back to my first point with Bayern right now I am completely all in with Bayern."
Record-breaking Achievements and Future Ambitions
Kane is the historic top scorer for both Tottenham and England and lately became the fastest player this century to achieve 100 goals for a club competing in one of Europe's top five divisions, securing the landmark in just 104 games for Bayern.
However, a honor had eluded him until he secured the German title last season.
Kane admits that he was not sure how he would feel after ending his trophy barren spell, but now thinks it has made him eager for more success.
"When you win a title like I did last year, maybe it could be natural to go the other way and be like, 'OK I've done what I wanted to achieve'," he added.
"But it's given me more motivation to do more and be better. I think I've proven that this year.
"I was curious in how I would feel after winning a trophy. Obviously there's still a lot more I want to accomplish in terms of other trophies and bigger trophies for sure.
"But I think it was always just, in my head, what I was going to feel like after I did achieve winning my first one.
"But for sure, I pushed myself the other way in terms of being even better, eating even cleaner, doing more gym. Just trying to get the most out of what I've got right now."
